The Municipality of Concordia, through the Employment Directorate, carried out the completion of the painting training corresponding to the “Arma tu Oficio” program, within the framework of the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial.
During the training sessions, participants acquired theoretical and practical knowledge related to surface preparation, use of materials, professional application techniques, and fundamental tools for job performance within the painting sector.
In the second meeting, the attendees carried out the practical instance of the workshop, performing renovation and enhancement tasks in the bathroom area of the “Viñedos Moulins” Central Park, applying the knowledge acquired during the training in the field.
The municipal Employment Director, Juan Manuel Scarzello, highlighted that these instances “allow for providing concrete tools for labor insertion, strengthening trades and generating new opportunities for the residents of the city”.
For his part, the trainer José Mattia valued the commitment of the participants and remarked that painting constitutes a trade with high labor demand, both for those seeking employment and for those planning to develop their own ventures.
The activity also had the accompaniment and support of private companies that collaborated with materials and strengthened the training proposal, among them Ozuna Pinturería, Ideal Café & Bar, Distrito Este Construcción en Seco and Comercial Industrial, reaffirming the articulated work between the public and private sectors to promote labor training.
In this way, the Municipality of Concordia continues to strengthen public policies oriented towards training in trades, promoting employment, inclusion, and local productive development.
