The province, through the Secretariat of Sports headed by Sebastian Uranga, together with the Argentine Delegation to CTM Salto Grande and the municipality of Concordia, delivered sports kits to 24 schools in the department, with the objective of strengthening physical education instruction and sports practice for their students.
These are part of a donation of 140 kits delivered by the Argentine Delegation to CTM Salto Grande to Governor Rogelio Frigerio on September 11.
the delivery took place at the Higher Institute of Physical Education Specialties (Iseef), with the presence of the Secretary General of the Government, Mauricio Colello; the mayor of Concordia, Francisco Azcué; and the president of the Argentine Delegation to CTM Salto Grande, Alejandro Daneri.
On the occasion, Colello highlighted that, with these 140 kits, which represent an investment of nearly 50 million pesos and which the Argentine Delegation of Salto Grande is making for the development of sports in the province, "we are providing tools so that they can do their job better. Physical education is part of the comprehensive education that every boy and girl should have, and the good news is that with this delivery we are going to complete 100 percent of the comprehensive schools that did not have sports equipment. These are small aids that allow us to carry out a sports policy linked to education," he stated.
For his part, the president of the Argentine Delegation to Salto Grande, Alejandro Daneri, noted: "We value working together with the administration of Governor Rogelio Frigerio, adding resources that reach schools in a concrete way and are transformed into tools for their students and teachers. Supporting education is contributing to creating better conditions for the comprehensive development of children and young people. Physical activity, sports, and the values they promote are fundamental for their growth."
Meanwhile, Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the joint work between the different levels of the State "as in this case, in something as important as education, providing more tools to schools for the instruction of their students and the practice of sports activities. This is the path that Governor Frigerio marks for us and that is how we carry it out."
Subsequently, the officials moved to School No. 42 "General Belgrano," where they delivered the kit destined for the institution and shared a meeting with its educational community.
After the day in Concordia, the remaining kits will continue to be delivered by the Government of Entre Ríos to educational institutions in different parts of the province, in accordance with the distribution planned for each level and modality.
Of the total, 53 are destined for Initial Level institutions, 40 for Primary Level schools, and 47 for Integral modality establishments.
Also present were the delegate of the Argentine Delegation to CTM, Guillermo Marcone; the coordinator of Departmental Schools of the General Council of Education (CGE), Sebastián Benedetti; and the Departmental Director of Schools of Concordia, Alejandro Ramírez.
