The Municipality of Concordia, through the Department of Policies for the Elderly, invites you to participate in the Alternative Games Meeting for Senior Citizens, a recreational proposal aimed at promoting physical activity, integration, and the well-being of older adults.
The activity will take place today, Thursday, June 25, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Green Lateral Space of the Concordia Convention Center, located at 101 San Lorenzo Oeste.
The session will be coordinated by Professor Miguel Pérez Saipe and will include various recreational, play-based, and movement activities designed to strengthen social bonds, stimulate participation, and encourage healthy habits.
In this regard, the head of the Department of Policies for the Elderly, Gladys Portugal, highlighted that “these spaces are fundamental for promoting active aging, where older adults can meet, share experiences, and enjoy activities that contribute to their physical and emotional well-being.”
Likewise, she pointed out that “through play and recreation, opportunities for integration and socialization are generated, which strengthen community ties and improve the quality of life of our senior citizens.”
Portugal also remarked that “from the Municipality, we continue to promote inclusive proposals that value the active role of older adults in the community, providing spaces for participation, meeting, and personal development.”
The call is open to senior citizens of the city who wish to share an afternoon of recreation, physical activity, and companionship in an outdoor environment.
