The Municipal Health Secretariat acquired furniture and items to equip the Isolation Centers for COVID-19 patients. The delivery of the items took place this Friday.
"We continue working on equipping the Isolation Centers that were set up within the framework of the Contingency Plan against the coronavirus ordered by Mayor Alfredo Francolini, so that each place has everything required for the patients who may eventually have to be there, to have the appropriate conditions," commented the head of the Municipality's health department, Dr. Mauro García.
The equipment was acquired with municipal resources, and includes various items that will be used by the people who are admitted to the Isolation Centers. It should be remembered that they serve the purpose of ensuring that people who test positive for coronavirus who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms and do not require medical assistance, comply with the strict quarantine there, so as not to infect their family members and close acquaintances, thus breaking the chains of contagion without saturating the public health system.
