Within the framework of the municipal decentralization policies promoted by the administration of Mayor Enrique Cresto, the Traffic Center has begun conducting road safety training courses in neighborhoods furthest from the Concordia city center, with the goal of bringing services to all citizens.
These road safety training sessions are part of the procedure to obtain a driver's license, so holding them in the neighborhoods of Benito Legerén and Osvaldo Magnasco is a benefit for hundreds of citizens in those neighborhoods and surrounding areas, who can complete them without the need to travel to the city center.
When asked about them, Germán, a resident of Benito Legerén, commented that “taking the course here is cheaper for everyone, and easier,” which is why he considered it “a good idea, that it is not all in the center, that it is also in the neighborhoods.”
María Cristina is a resident of Osvaldo Magnasco and is also taking the training being offered there. “If I have to travel to Concordia to take the course, I can't, it's too much time going back and forth,” she commented. “Mayor Cresto said he was going to bring more services and attention to the neighborhood, and little by little we see that things are being done, this is good,” the woman valued.
The objective of this action is to continue with accident prevention and traffic reorganization programs, facilitating access to driver's licenses, while seeking to bring the municipality to every resident, indicated the local Executive branch.
