The Municipality of Concordia, through the Secretariat of Productive Development and the Secretariat of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury, reported that the pre-registration period for Concordia.Negocios has been extended until Friday, August 28, due to the high number of applications received since the launch of the proposal.
The initiative is aimed at entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises that already have a business in operation and are looking to incorporate tools to strengthen their management, improve their commercial strategies, and generate new growth opportunities.
The decision to extend the deadline will allow more interested entrepreneurs to complete their pre-registration and be part of the selection process for the first edition of the program.
80 ENTREPRENEURS WILL BE SELECTED
In the context of the high number of applications received, 80 entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in the first edition of Concordia.Negocios, based on an evaluation process aimed at forming a diverse group representative of the local productive fabric.
Among the main aspects considered are that the businesses are currently in operation, the participants' commitment to the training process, and the growth potential of each venture. The ability of the initiatives to expand their markets, generate new income, and contribute to the city's economic development will also be taken into account.
The selection will also consider the diversity of sectors, experiences, and backgrounds, promoting exchange among participants as part of the learning process.
A PROPOSAL TO PROFESSIONALIZE BUSINESSES
Concordia.Negocios proposes a training and support path based on applied learning, where participants will be able to work on their own ventures and apply the contents directly to their activities.
The proposal includes four fundamental pillars:
Business diagnosis and validation.
Commercial strategy and sales.
Business finance.
Processes and formalization.
The objective is to provide concrete tools so that those who are already developing an economic activity can organize their businesses, improve management, strengthen their sales, and make decisions with better information.
The first edition includes eight meetings and will be a paid program, with a limited capacity of 80 participants.
SUPPORT
The Secretary of Productive Development, Sebastián Arístide, highlighted the response obtained during the call and pointed out that the interest registered reflects a concrete need of the local productive sector.
“The response that Concordia.Negocios has had is very important and confirms that there is a concrete demand from our entrepreneurs to access tools that allow them to professionalize their businesses and continue growing. From the Municipality, we have been working to listen to those needs and generate proposals that have a concrete application in daily activity.”
Arístide explained that the extension of the call seeks to provide a new opportunity to those who have not yet been able to complete their pre-registration. “We decided to extend the call until August 28 because we want more entrepreneurs to have the possibility to participate. We know that often those who run a business have to balance their daily activity with their responsibilities, and we want to facilitate their access to this proposal.”
He also valued the applied nature of the training and the coordination with different institutions: “Concordia.Negocios does not only seek to transmit knowledge. We want each participant to be able to look at their own business, identify opportunities for improvement, and take concrete tools to their activity. For this, we have the support of academic and technical institutions that contribute knowledge and experience.”
COORDINATION TO STRENGTHEN PRODUCTIVE DEVELOPMENT
Concordia.Negocios is promoted by the Municipality of Concordia, through the Secretariat of Productive Development and the Secretariat of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury, in coordination with the National Technological University (UTN) Concordia Regional Faculty, the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of Entre Ríos (CPCEER), and the Concordia Center for Commerce, Industry and Services (CCISC).
The coordination between the municipal State, educational institutions, technical bodies, and the private sector seeks to strengthen the local productive fabric and generate better conditions for the development of ventures and SMEs.
In this sense, Arístide remarked: “We have a city with entrepreneurs, merchants, and business owners who generate economic activity and employment every day. Our role is to support them, generate tools, and coordinate with the institutions that can provide knowledge and capabilities. Concordia.Negocios is part of that path.”
The initiative is developed within the framework of municipal policies aimed at strengthening productive development in the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial, supporting local ventures and promoting the generation of employment and new economic opportunities for the city.
