This Saturday night, the XXXII Provincial Immigrant Festival was inaugurated, which, as in every edition, brings together traditions, customs, dances, typical foods, and a moment of reconnection with the legacy left by those who arrived from different countries to make this land great..
The Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted that this festival "allows us to commemorate the immigrant culture, which is composed of work, effort, and merit. Today we need this, to know where we come from in order to know where we are going, to lift up this country, the province, and this city."
"Entre Ríos grew and developed on the foundations of this melting pot of races that is part of our identity, which is why nothing is more ours than the immigrant culture," remarked Azcué.
Yamile Latour, president of Inmigrantes Unidos de Concordia, invited the entire community "to join us, to come and visit our activities, and to be part of this festival, which is the crowning achievement of the whole year's work, transmitting the traditions, the culture, and the music that our grandparents left us."
The activities continue this Sunday, starting at 4:00 PM with the opening of the gastronomic courtyard, and at 6:00 PM, the traditional parade and the presence of artistic performances, all with free access at the "Viñedos Moulins" venue.
Present were the Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza, council members, provincial and municipal officials, representatives of the different communities, and the general public.
