With the presence of Mayor Francisco Azcué, the Honorary Cultural Performance was held in commemoration of the 210th Anniversary of the Declaration of Argentine Independence, an artistic proposal that showcased the history, identity, and cultural legacy that unites us as a people.
Under the name “Tango and Folklore: Sounds of Independence”, the event took an emotional journey through the artistic expressions that accompanied the construction of the Argentine identity.
Prior to the Honorary Performance, our city's pedestrian street was transformed into an open-air stage with the “Independence Gathering”, an artistic recreation that invited the public to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the era through the music, dance, and customs that marked the first years of our Nation, with performances by the Municipal Folklore Ballet “Renovando Sueños” and the “Aromas Gauchas” Ballet.
The Honorary Cultural Performance featured the participation of prominent artists from our city, including Franco Pezzelatto and Daniel Esteche, who were in charge of the musical opening of the gala; the “Sembrando Futuro” Folklore Ballet, together with the Municipal Tango Ballet “La Flor del Tango”, with a production that fused two of the most representative expressions of our cultural identity; Diego Detona and Lucas Iriarte; the “Alas de Mi Patria” Folklore Ballet; Mateo Tano and Marcos Trzuskot; and the Municipal Folklore Ballet “Renovando Sueños”, who brought to life a show designed to move and pay tribute to the homeland through art. The closing was performed by the Music Band of the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment “Blandengues”, who played the Argentine National Anthem.
Accompanying the Mayor were the Minister of Treasury and Finance of Entre Ríos, Fabián Boleas, Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza, members of the Cabinet, council members, representatives of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, social organizations, intermediate institutions, and the general public.
