The Municipality of Concordia invites the entire community to participate in the official reception for Marcos Senesi, who made history by becoming the first person from Concordia to join the Argentine National Football Team squad in a World Cup, taking our city's name to the highest stage of international football.
The meeting will take place this Thursday, July 23, at 5:00 PM, in front of the main entrance of the Municipal Palace, where the central stage will be set up to share a unique moment with the residents of the city.
Under the slogan “Concordia welcomes Marcos Senesi”, the proposal seeks to become a symbolic embrace from the entire community towards one of its own, recognizing not only his outstanding sports career, but also the values of effort, perseverance, humility, and commitment that he represents for the new generations.
First, Marcos will be received in a formal manner by provincial and municipal authorities. Subsequently, he will move to the main stage to have a direct meeting with the community, share a few words, and receive the affection of the people of Concordia.
The meeting in front of the Municipal Palace will constitute the only activity open to the public scheduled for this visit. Therefore, all residents are invited to come to Plaza 25 de Mayo to accompany this tribute and be part of a moment that will remain in the sporting history of Concordia.
Families, institutions, sports clubs, football schools, and all citizens are invited to attend with Argentine flags, jerseys, messages of encouragement, and, above all, with the respect and affection that characterize our community.
