This long weekend, Concordia reached 85% hotel occupancy, consolidating itself as a destination with sustained tourist activity and a growing demand for cultural, gastronomic, and recreational activities.
According to data from the Tourism Observatory of the Undersecretariat of Tourism, visitors stayed for an average of 2.5 nights, and regarding their origins, the Province of Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires led the arrivals, followed by different cities in the province of Entre Ríos, Santa Fe, and Corrientes. Córdoba, Mendoza, and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay also contributed significant movement, reflecting a broad and diverse distribution of those who visited the destination.

The first edition of "Sabores de Concordia y la Región” was held, a gastronomic proposal that brought together chefs, producers, entrepreneurs, and artists to celebrate the culinary identity of the local area and the Binational Region of Salto Grande, where the regional qualifying stage of the Federal Chefs Tournament (FEHGRA) took place for the first time in the city of Concordia. On this occasion, the winner was Maximiliano Ceballos from Concordia, who will represent the city in the national stage of the competition.
MUSEUM AND HERITAGE WEEK
For seven days, under the slogan “Discover what is ours, value who we are,” museums, libraries, educational institutions, and emblematic spaces offered guided tours, art exhibitions, talks, musical interventions, and historical tours, inviting people to rediscover the natural, cultural, and symbolic heritage of the city.
TOURS AND EXPERIENCES
Alternatives were also developed that invited people to get to know the city from different perspectives. In the Naranjal de Pereda, recreational activities, guided tours, and walks along its historical trails took place, while the Castillo San Carlos proposed artistic interventions, guided narrations, and experiences that integrate architectural memory with the natural environment. For its part, the Hydroelectric Dam – Museum and Cultural Center Salto Grande offered interpretive circuits oriented toward understanding its history, heritage value, and operation.
The thermal complexes recorded a marked attendance, with visitors enjoying options for recreation, wellness, and outdoor rest. Sport fishing, different cultural proposals, and nautical tours also had a very interesting tourist demand. In parallel, the tourist bus and pedestrian tourist circuits presented significant attendance, accompanying the interest in discovering Concordia through accessible thematic itineraries.
Added to this were wine tourism experiences, days at rural establishments, and the Sovereignty Fair, which expanded the range of activities available during the long weekend.
The Undersecretariat of Tourism and the Mixed Concordiense Tourism Board (EMCONTUR) reaffirmed their commitment to working for an integral destination, promoting actions that strengthen and boost tourist activity in the Binational Region of Salto Grande, where we can observe that Concordia continues to consolidate itself as a destination that not only receives visitors but offers complete experiences, with identity and quality.
