The Disability Directorate of the Municipality of Concordia, under the Secretariat of Health, will carry out the training "Understanding to Accompany," a proposal aimed at providing educational institutions in the city of Concordia with theoretical and practical tools for the understanding and support of the learning trajectories of children and adolescents with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), promoting an inclusive, updated, and stigma-free perspective.
The activity will take place on Saturday, October 10th, starting at 09:00 AM at the Provincial Civic Center (Ex Barracas) located at 535 Hipólito Yrigoyen, with an estimated duration of 3 hours, and will be free of charge. It is aimed at teachers of all levels, management and school guidance teams, health and education professionals, families, and the educational community in general.
During the meeting, different aspects related to ADHD will be addressed, including its characteristics and common myths, its impact on school trajectories, pedagogical strategies for the classroom, communication between school and families, and emotional aspects related to self-esteem and inclusion.
The proposal will combine theoretical presentations with participatory activities and analysis of everyday situations, with the aim of providing practical tools and fostering an inclusive and stigma-free perspective.
The Disability Directorate seeks to strengthen joint work between educational institutions, families, professional teams, and the community, promoting support networks that contribute to sustaining the educational trajectories of children and adolescents with ADHD.
