The Secretariat of Public Services of the Municipality of Concordia continues to work weekly with territorial approaches in different parts of the city with the intervention of the Undersecretariat of Public Services; the Undersecretariat of Environment; Urban Hygiene; Electrotechnics; Waste Collection; Parks and Promenades, among other areas.
The mayor Francisco Azcué was in the Tiro Federal neighborhood, where he toured the area and spoke with the residents: “this is a job that we do together. The Municipality carries out the approach but we ask that you accompany us. If everyone does their part, if we all collaborate, we can have a cleaner and more orderly city”.
In this regard, he remarked that “for this, it is important to take out the waste at the times when collection is carried out; not to throw it anywhere and generate micro-dumps; to maintain the fronts of the houses. There are many things that can be done to take care of the place where each of us lives every day”.
Fabián, a resident with more than 30 years in the neighborhood, thanked the municipality for its presence: “these actions are spectacular because unfortunately, just as some residents take care and are responsible, there are others who even come from other places and throw trash”.
Through the territorial approaches, cleaning tasks, maintenance of green spaces, lighting, waste collection, removal of branches, and actions for clearing debris and dengue prevention are carried out, in addition to door-to-door environmental education instances.
