"Volga Letters" - A staging about the memory of the Volga Germans.

The German Community of Concordia presents, within the framework of the Cultural Week of the XXII Provincial Immigrant Festival, @inmigrantesunidosdeconcordia the play "Volga Letters", an original staging that invites you to explore, through words and music, the history of thousands of families who left their homeland in search of a new future.

• Tuesday, September 2nd - 8:30 PM
• Cultural Hall - J.J. Urquiza 638

The artistic proposal, one hour long, is built upon dramatized letters that recreate the life of the German settlers from their departure from the villages on the banks of the Volga River in Russia, to their arrival at the port of Buenos Aires and the subsequent founding of the first colonies in Entre Ríos.

With careful staging, projections, musical fragments, and interactive participation with the audience, the play reflects the feelings of hope, uprooting, identity, and resilience that marked the immigrants' journey.

• "The letters allow us to hear their voices again. They are pages that hold emotions, dreams, and memories that remain alive in their descendants," expressed the organizers.

An invitation to travel back in time.

"Volga Letters" offers the spectator a sensitive journey through collective memory, to honor roots and build bridges between generations. Each letter, read on stage, combines fragments in Spanish and German, accompanied by lights, music, and projections that enrich the narrative.

Admission is free and open to the public.
