The organization of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival informs the community that, due to the regrettable and deplorable acts of violence recorded last Tuesday in areas surrounding the Atanasio Bonfiglio Corsódromo, it has been decided to suspend the third night of parades. The decision was adopted with the primary objective of safeguarding the integrity and safety of the children, prioritizing the family spirit that characterizes this celebration.
The decision was agreed upon by the representatives of the participating carnival groups, the Undersecretary of Government Lucas Fuscado, the Executive Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, and the Director of Events Magali Martínez, who agreed that the care of the children is the priority.
In the coming days, the format for an institutional closing corresponding to the 2026 edition will be communicated.
Likewise, the important security operation deployed by the Police of Entre Ríos and the Undersecretary of Citizen Security was highlighted, which allowed order to be maintained within the premises. The preventive work and health assistance carried out by the Health Secretariat of Concordia were also acknowledged.
The organization thanks the families and the entire community for their understanding, reaffirming the commitment that the Pequeños Duendes Carnival continues to be a safe space, full of joy, and designed by and for children.
