The parade began at 10:30 PM and lasted until nearly 4:00 AM. Prior to the start, a special recognition was held for Natalia Capri, Guillermina Paiva, and Daiana Acosta, three prominent dancers and figures. The three began in the Carnaval de los Pequeños Duendes and accompanied the growth of the greatest summer festival, shining in each edition. Mayor Alfredo Francolini, together with national senator Edgardo Kueider, provincial senator Armando Gay, the Municipal Government Coordination Secretary Fernando Barboza, and the Popular Festivals coordinator Matías Soto, presented the distinction to the artists, thus recognizing all the carnival participants who carry out this great popular festival with much passion and commitment.
Also stepping onto the Corsódromo track in the lead-up to the final night were the murgas "Los Herederos de Del Viso" and "Los Embajadores de Grand Bourg" from the province of Buenos Aires, who were in Concordia this weekend participating in solidarity activities.
"We had a long weekend with a lot of tourist activity. Concordia is the city of all carnivals, where throughout the entire weekend one could enjoy all the expressions of this festival, and a magnificent show at the Corsódromo with Ráfaga, Imperio, Bella Samba, and Emperatriz," highlighted Mayor Alfredo Francolini.
"Throughout all the nights there was a large amount of attendance, with a very good average of the public not only from Concordia, but many tourists who came to Concordia especially drawn by the Carnival. The goal is to continue working together with the private sector for the growth of this festival, which in addition to being a cultural festival, is also a source of work for hundreds of families and contributes to boosting the local economy," he noted.
Finally, the Mayor highlighted "the commitment and dedication of all the members of the four troupes, who for many months dedicate time and passion to provide a magnificent show," and "to the entire team from the different areas of the Municipality and the Carnival Entity that make this event possible," he concluded.
