On January 20, 2018, the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo will dress up to host the first and inaugural night of the Concordia carnivals. There will be six nights of pure passion in a celebration that makes it unique in our country, combining rhythm, dance, music, joy, and passion. The carnival groups, together with the Municipality of Concordia, have been working for a long time to be fully prepared for the first day. Tickets can already be purchased in advance.
“The Concordia Carnival has been growing and has no ceiling. The decision is to continue working in coordination with the carnival groups so that this celebration continues to grow and professionalize without losing its essence, which is passion, the popular, and the social, and remains the great tourist event of the summer,” noted the mayor Enrique Cresto in this regard.
And this is already noticeable because inquiries are growing day by day regarding what those six weekends will be like in a corsódromo with a capacity for 15,000 people per night. Sales through the official website www.concordia.gob.ar/carnaval continue and many people have already purchased their tickets for some of the nights of celebration.
This was indicated by Matías Soto, coordinator of the Carnival Entity, who pointed out that “we are a little over a month away from the start of the carnival and the truth is that expectations are growing because one sees that the carnival groups are working to reach the first night at one hundred percent, always with the support of the Municipality, so –he affirmed– everything is set for the inaugural night of January 20 to be magical.”
TICKET SALES
Regarding the impact on the public, Soto indicated that it is being very good, taking two issues as a parameter: what it awakens in the people of Concordia and the interest of those who do not live in our city.
Through the website www.concordia.gob.ar/carnaval “we are receiving inquiries and tickets are already being purchased at a very good level, and for us, that is somewhat of a sensor for what the carnivals will be like next year.”
Ticket sales can currently be acquired online by entering the official website of the Municipality and paying with a credit card. Starting December 26, those who purchased tickets will be able to go to the Caja Mixta, where the access tickets will be exchanged and collected.
