The scrutiny for the 2019 edition of the most passionate carnival was held this Wednesday at the Auditorium theater. The final results painted the passion green and white, and Comparsa Emperatriz was crowned champion, lifting its eighth cup. In addition, the new Carnival Queen is an Emperadora, Carolina Panozzo Zénere, as well as most of the figures. Belen Escobar, from Bella Samba, is the winning Drum Queen, a troupe that also won for best Lyrics and Music, while the Drum section that was crowned champion is Nota Mil from Ráfaga.
The scrutiny began a few minutes past 3:00 PM and lasted until eight o'clock at night, when the final results were announced. It should be noted that the Carnival Queenship was in dispute until the last moment, given that the Emperadora and the Bella Samba Queen, Florencia Paiva, tied in points, having to break the tie based on the results of one of the items in competition.
Regarding the Comparsas, the ranking grid was completed with Bella Samba in second place, Ráfaga in third place, and Comparsa Imperio in fourth place. At the end of the scrutiny, the celebration of the different comparsas moved to the 25 de Mayo square, where tricolor, multicolor, and green and white flags were seen intermingled, celebrating the triumphs obtained.
