The Employment Directorate of the Municipality of Concordia, in coordination with the General Council of Education (CGE), will carry out a new proposal for job training aimed at providing tools and knowledge that contribute to strengthening training and labor insertion opportunities for the community.
The proposals will be free of charge, will be held in person, and will take place at the Concordia Civic Center. The training sessions will begin on August 24 and will be aimed at people interested in acquiring and strengthening knowledge in areas related to computer science, sign language, and electrical installations.
On this occasion, four proposals will be taught: Advanced Computer Operator, Basic Computer Operator, Sign Language Assistant Level I, and Electrical Installation Assistant.
The Director of Employment, Juan Manuel Scarzello, highlighted the importance of continuing to expand training opportunities for the community: “From the Employment Directorate, we continue working to bring training that responds to current needs and allows residents to incorporate concrete tools to improve their possibilities for labor insertion. The coordination with the CGE allows us to add training proposals with official backing and certification.”
In this sense, Candelaria Cracco, coordinator of Youth and Adult Education of the Departmental Directorate of Schools, pointed out that “training is a fundamental component of employment policies. That is why we seek for these proposals to be accessible and close, making municipal spaces available so that more people can be trained and acquire new knowledge.”
