During the third night of the Concordia Carnival, among the crowd that attended last Sunday were two prominent athletes from our city: Racing Club forward Gustavo Bou and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Latino super lightweight champion, Gustavo “Perrito” Vittori, who shared moments of the traditional celebration with the mayor Enrique Cresto, the vice-mayor Armando Gay, and the Secretary of Sports Marcelo Cresto.
“We came with family and friends to enjoy this beautiful carnival, and the truth is that I am very surprised by what I am seeing, with the level of each of the troupes, which shows that it has grown and the healthy competition is getting stronger,” remarked the “Academia” forward, Gustavo Bou, who regretted that he cannot always be present for the carnivals of his city because at this time of year, he is generally in pre-season, but this time he was able to do so and did not hesitate to come to the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Municipal Corsodrome.
“When I am in Buenos Aires, I try to follow it in some way because it is a very beautiful carnival, with a lot of color,” making it clear that he has no preference for any of the troupes since “they are all very well represented and awaken the desire to have fun and jump,” concluded Bou.
Gustavo “Perrito” Vittori did not hesitate to state that “we are experiencing a true celebration. I came last weekend, today we returned because we have to support the beautiful carnival we have,” highlighting the passion seen in the stands “with a spectacle from the fans that is something very beautiful.”
