This Saturday, the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” was once again the protagonist of the nights in Concordia with the performances of Imperio, Bella Samba, Ráfaga, and Emperatriz in a new edition of the city's greatest festival. Fátima Monzón, queen of the Carnival of Concordia, commented on what the reunion at the corsódromo meant.
“It is difficult to explain in words what I am feeling at this moment; I am very moved to step onto the track of our corsódromo again and open the doors to a new carnival, after the pandemic,” expressed Fátima Monzón, current queen of the Carnival of Concordia after the opening ceremony of the city's greatest festival.
“It is truly very beautiful to see the stands full, the people and the city prepared to experience a new carnival. As queen of all the carnival participants of Concordia, I feel a great sense of pride to be here tonight and I thank everyone for joining us,” added Fátima.
“I invite everyone to join us until February 26th at the Carnival of Concordia and experience our festival, our passion, and take with them all the happiness and joy of this unique spectacle,” she concluded.
