The joy of the children and the sound of the batucadas will be the preamble this Friday, January 19, to a weekend where Concordia will begin to experience Carnival. Los Pequeños Duendes are ready to parade and thus show all the effort and commitment of families and residents who have prepared and rehearsed over the last few months to demonstrate why they are the breeding ground of the Concordia Carnival.
From 8:30 p.m., on the Costanera, between Carriego and the Alte. Brown roundabout, the first inaugural parade of the 2018 edition of the children's carnival will take place. 13 comparsas will participate this year, and this Friday 7 of them will kick off the popular festival: the Aduc comparsa, Zamba Ara, Irupé, Fantasía Carnavalera, Maravillas del Sur, Aramí, and Los cabezones y sus amigos.
Organized by the Coordination of Neighborhood Workshops and Cultural Events of the Municipality, the Carnival Entity, and the Conased Foundation, there are more than a thousand boys and girls from different neighborhoods who will participate in this new edition of the popular carnival.
The organization invites all families to attend with chairs and mates, foam spray, and a great desire to have fun.
