Mayor Alfredo Francolini, together with the Undersecretary of Health, Dr. Diego Sauré, the Undersecretary of Employment and Social Economy Griselda Jachú, and the Director of Disability Marcelo Primitivo, led the presentation of the job training cycle that will expand the training of people with disabilities, providing them with new tools for insertion into the labor market.
“With this initiative promoted by Mayor Alfredo Francolini, we are giving the young men and women not only a new certificate, but a new training opportunity that also means expanding their possibilities for labor insertion and social and personal development,” began Marcelo Primitivo, Director of Disability of the Municipality of Concordia.
Subsequently, he added that "through the coordination and approach we have with people with disabilities through the Job Training program, we were able to observe that in addition to the lack of job training, other life experiences are necessary to complement it in order to achieve true labor insertion, so these training sessions will be one more tool in this regard".
Providing more details, Primitivo explained that “we decided to start with 3 training blocks, the first is Sign Language; the second is the use of AED and First Aid, led by the Undersecretary of Health Dr. Diego Sauré, and the third block will be taught by Occupational Safety and Hygiene personnel of the Municipality and will be about prevention of work accidents, use of fire extinguishers, and evacuations in case of fires or catastrophes”.
“The courses are aimed at people with disabilities and we aim for the assimilation of knowledge and the development of the activities that can be learned throughout the year” indiccated the official, mentioning that “we had to adapt the contents, it is quite a challenge for the speakers and participants, so we insist that they be developed gradually and, above all, that the attendees can take advantage of the training for their integral development”.
“During this week we will be advertising on social networks, and next Monday the scheduled calendar will be ready and registration will be open,” he concluded.
