The 13 children's carnival troupes from the city and two more special guests from nearby towns were the protagonists this Friday of the closing of the 2018 edition of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival at a Corsódromo that filled the stands.
Mayor Enrique Cresto, the president of the Conased Foundation, the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Entre Ríos Sergio Urribarri, together with the authorities of the Carnival Entity, the Neighborhood Workshops Coordination, municipal officials, councilors, and representatives of the adult carnival troupes, performed the ribbon-cutting that marked the start of the parade.
Thousands of families overflowed the stands and enjoyed a unique celebration in the whole country like the one provided by the children's and popular carnival of Concordia.
Pequeños Duendes is much more than the Carnival Nursery of Concordia. It is a social phenomenon with a strong positive impact in the neighborhoods, which represents solidarity, inclusion, companionship, and teamwork. The joy was contagious to everyone on a night full of rhythm, emotion, and happiness.
