This Wednesday was the first of two days of sound checks and virtual technical rehearsals for the Comparsas at the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo. The stands and the venue were filled with spectators who experienced a preview of what the parades will be like, starting this Saturday, January 25th. This Thursday will be the turn of Bella Samba and Imperio, who will carry out their sound check with free admission. At noon today, the 50% discount promotion on tickets ends.
The day of the sound check has finally arrived, which allows for technical adjustments and console settings for the parades, while also observing the assembly of the musicians and the percussion section, and the dancers and figures of each comparsa rehearse their choreographies on the Corsódromo track. Although the participants do not attend in their costumes, reserving them for the first night, and the floats do not participate either, it is a very special moment for each comparsa because it allows them to adjust the final details. And the supporters of each one experience it as a unique preview.
With free admission, the first of the rehearsals took place this Wednesday, and it was the turn of Ráfaga and Emperatriz. This Thursday starting at 9:00 PM, it will be the turn of Bella Samba and Imperio. The battle of passions enters the final countdown for the grand start of the 2020 edition, which will be this Saturday, January 25th, at 10:00 PM sharp.
