The “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo will host the competing troupes of the Concordia Carnival this Monday, January 17, and Tuesday, January 18, to anticipate the start of the city's greatest festival with technical rehearsals and sound checks. Admission is free, and the COVID-19 health pass will be requested at the entrance.
In the final stretch before the start of a new edition of the "Battle of the Passions," Imperio, Emperatriz, Ráfaga, and Bella Samba are finalizing details to make the Corsódromo track vibrate starting Saturday, January 22. For this reason, this Monday and Tuesday, the traditional sound check of the troupes for the 2022 edition of the Concordia Carnival will take place, with the participation of dancers and members, resulting in a preview of the greatest summer festival.
During the sound check, musicians and percussionists will adjust technical aspects, and the new samba enredo of each troupe will be heard. In addition, it will be carried out with the participation of dancers and performers, resulting in a prelude to what will be the first night of the carnival on the Corsódromo track.
This Monday, January 17, it will be Ráfaga's turn at 8:30 PM and Emperatriz's at 10:30 PM, while on Tuesday, January 18, Imperio will have its rehearsal at 8:30 PM and Bella Samba at 10:30 PM.
