Eco Points: spaces for sorting
The city of Concordia has a free service that allows residents to bring their dry and clean waste to be sent for recycling.
What are Eco Points?
They are facilities designed to receive waste previously separated at the source (at home), which has recycling potential. Everything collected at these points is transported to the Concordia Environmental Node, where materials are baled and then sent to recycling plants. Separating waste at the source prevents pollution, protects the environment, and facilitates recycling work.
What are Eco Points for?
- Correctly separating recyclable waste such as plastics, paper, cardboard, metals, glass, Tetra Brik, and used vegetable oil.
- Reducing environmental impact, preventing these materials from ending up in the landfill.
- Extending the useful life of the landfill, reserving it only for non-recyclable waste.
- Taking care of collection system workers, avoiding unnecessary risks.
- Saving resources and energy by reusing materials instead of manufacturing from scratch.
What can you take to an Eco Point?
Please bring your waste clean, dry, and sorted. We accept:
- Plastics
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Metals
- Glass
- Tetra Brik containers
- Used Vegetable Oil (UVO)*
Important:
- At the Salta and the tracks Eco Point, UVO is delivered to the office located next to the container.

What cannot be left?
It is not allowed to dump wet waste or common household trash. Do not deposit:
- Food scraps
- Used yerba mate, tea bags, or coffee grounds
- Diapers or wet wipes

OPENING HOURS FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
